
Cristin Cavallaro was a member of the class of 1987 of Delaware Valley High School where she excelled in three sports; softball, basketball and field hockey. In softball she was team captain her senior year as well as MVP, she won the batting title in 1985, made the Northeast Athletic Conference All Star Team in 1987 and pitched a no-hitter in 1985. After high school she lettered for three years on the St. Joseph's University softball team, graduating in 1991 cum laude with a bachelor of arts in Politics. She was also inducted into the National Political Science Honor Society. Upon graduation she went to graduate school at East Stroudsburg University and then taught at Emmaus High School where she coached softball and her team was District 11 Champions and PIAA State Semifinalists. Cristin then taught at her high school alma mater from 1994 to 1996 coaching field hockey and softball. Now married to DV graduate Paul Cavallaro, she coaches in Eastern Pike Soccer League, Cal Ripkin Baseball, sits on the Matamoras Roller Hockey League Board and is Director of Co-ed Youth Basketball at the Delaware Valley Elementary School and is Vice President of its PTA.
