Dr. Copeland was a member of the Class of 1972 of Delaware Valley High School. She is currently an Education Coordinator at the Department of Nursing Education Memorial Hospital and Sloan Kettering Cancer Center in New York, NY. This is a post she has held since 1993.
She attended Vassar College from 1972 to 1974, and graduated from Cornell University - the New York Hospital School of Nursing in 1976. She received an M.S.N. from the Pennsylvania State University in 1982 and a Ed.D from the Teacher's College of Columbia University in 1992. Dr. Copeland has written numerous articles for professional journals in the field of cancer nursing and is a frequent speaker at professional conferences in that same field.
