Mrs. Christine Ficken Dunlay was a member of the Class of 1978 of Delaware Valley High School. Mrs. Dunlay earned first place All Around Gymnast in District XII in 1977, 1978, 1979. She also earned honors in Pennsylvania State Competition as 4th place All Around, Intermediate Class, 1978; 2nd place All Around, Intermediate Class, 1979; 3rd place Balance Beam 1979; 4th place Vault, 1979.

She attended Ithaca College and was a member of its Gymnastics Team from 1979-1982. In 1981 she was a member of the first place team NYSAIAW Division Championships where she placed first on the Balance Beam. She placed 3rd that same year in the EAIAW Division II Regionals. In 1982 she placed 5th on Uneven Parallel Bars EAIAW Division II. She graduated cum laude from Ithaca College in 1983 with a degree in Physical Therapy which she has pursued as a career.
