Ronald C. Dilthey was a member of the Class of 1953 of Milford High School. After the high school he traveled to North Carolina where he received B.S. (1957) and J.D. (1960) degrees from Wake Forest University. He remained in North Carolina to practice law where he is know Senior and Managing Partner of the Raleigh law firm of Patterson, Dilthey, Clay & Bryson, LLP.
From 1978 to the present he has been a Professor of law at the Campbell School for Law. A fellow of the American College of Trial Lawyers. His practices specializes in civil litigation in the state and federal courts of North Carolina. He has also served as Vice President of the North Carolina Bar Association, Chair of its Committee on Medico-Legal Liaison, a member of its Board of Governors, Chair of the Litigation section, Chair of the Administration of Justice Study Commission and Chair of the Justice Study Task Force. He is a Frequent lecturer in the field of civil trial practice.
