Neil Myer was a member of the Delaware Valley High School Class of 1975. He was selected to Wayne County Soccer League All Star Team in 1973 as a half-back and was co-captain of the 1974 DV soccer team.

After graduation he attended Villanova and then Lafayette College, where he played three years of Varsity Division I soccer. His senior year he was selected All Patriot League as a central defender while playing against three of the Top Ten ranked Division I schools, including defending NCAA National Champion San Francisco.

Since graduation from college he has played at the club level for many teams and coached at the high school and club level including one year as an assistant to Ron Robacker at Delaware Valley.
