Warner M. Depuy

Warner M. Depuy was a member of the Milford High School, Class of 1935. He graduated, with distinction, from Dartmouth College and began a career in business. In 1942 he began a long career in public service when he was elected to the Pennsylvania State Assembly. He held that seat from 1942 to 1950. In 1956, he was first elected to the office of Pike County Commissioner, an office he held until 1984, serving as board chairman on several occasions.

Pennsylvania Governor William Scranton appointed him Executive Deputy Secretary of Revenue, Secretary of Revenue and Deputy State Treasurer. President Ronald Reagan appointed him as Federal Member and Chairman of the Susquehanna River Basin Commission, a post that he held from 1981 to 1991. Mr. Depuy has long been associated with the First National Bank of Pike County where he served as Chairman, President and Chief Executive Officer.
