The Dime Bank Generously Donates to DVSD STEM

Thank you Dime Bank & Greater Pike Community Foundation!

Our DVHS STEM program has yet again advanced thanks to the Dime Bank and Greater Pike Community Foundation. The Dime Bank donated $10,000 to Greater Pike Community Foundation through the state of Pennsylvania’s EITC program. The program awards tax credits to businesses making significant contributions to educational programs. These funds were then awarded to Delaware Valley High School and used to enhance our Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) educational programs.

“The Dime Bank is dedicated to bringing critical learning to our future leaders by supporting education in our school districts. We are proud to partner with the Greater Pike Community Foundation to contribute funding to the Delaware Valley School District to assist with important STEM programs,” said Deb Unflat, Vice President, Marketing, for The Dime Bank.

Greater Pike Executive Director Jenni Hamill stated “Technology has taken on a more crucial role with the need for remote learning during a pandemic. Greater Pike is pleased to partner with The Dime Bank, Delaware Valley School District, and the PA Department of Community and Economic Development for this important contribution to the future success of students.”

Delaware Valley School District is thrilled to be the recipient of such generous support from our community and very excited about the opportunities these donations provide for our students.
