DELAWARE VALLEY SCHOOL DISTRICT SENIOR WARRIOR APPRECIATION CARD

The Delaware Valley School District is excited to offer senior citizens, 62 years of age or older, a SENIOR WARRIOR Appreciation Card.  Cardholders will be entitled to free general admission to Delaware Valley School District athletic events, fine arts and other school district sponsored events (some exclusions do apply).

Free admission is not the only great thing about these cards, the look sharp too!  The students of Maura Angle's Business Marketing class held a mini competition where several students created card designs and staff picked the winner.  Great job Warriors! All the designs were fantastic; the staff had a hard time picking just one.

Pictured is Delaware Valley School District Superintendent Dr. John Bell giving the first card to Paul Gavoille.  Paul is a 1970 graduate of DV and has been a dedicated member of their maintenance staff for over 31 years. "It is an honor to offer Paul and the seniors of our community this small token of appreciation" says Bell.

DV Senior Warrior Appreciation Cards are effective for immediate use so our seniors can start enjoying DV activities right away.  The card is valid only at events sponsored by the school district and on district property.  It is not valid for entry to PIAA play-off games or drama productions.  A list of sporting events can be found under the athletics tab on our website (DVSD.org) and the district calendar lists many upcoming performances.

To acquire a card, seniors can stop in any DV school office with proof of age ID or can contact Lisa Matarazzo at the DV Administration Office either by email at LMatarazzo@dvsd.org or by phone at 570-296-1827.

The staff and students are looking forward to welcoming senior community members to DV events and having them as part of WARRIOR NATION!
