Drawing
Every Friday all students have formal drawing lessons. There, they learn the tricks of the trade like drawing in perspective and from different views. All techniques are introduced and then applied to an ongoing sketchbook.
In 8th grade, students learn to draw from life. Learning how to sight (measure with your eye) and applying the concepts of perspective are used when students draw still lives. It is a favorite part of the class for many students. Our drawings are sometimes turned into beautiful watercolor paintings.
