Mario Buda

Mario Buda was a member of the 1975 graduating class of Delaware Valley High School. He graduated from the United States Air Force Academy in 1979 with a degree in Public Administration and received a Master's of Science degree from Troy State University in 1994. Colonel Buda has served as Director of U-2 Operations for the Far East; Chief of Strategic Reconnaissance Branch in Hawaii; Chief Pilot of all U-2 Aircraft, Worldwide; Commander of the U-2 detachment to facilitate compliance with the Camp David Accords; Deputy Division Chief of Current Operations Division of the Strategic Air Command and Chief of the Mobile Command and Control Division of the United States Strategic Command. His military decorations include the Defense Meritorious Service Medal, the Meritorious Service Medal, the Aerial Achievement Medal, the Air Force Commendation Medal, and the Air Force Achievement Medal. Colonel Buda is married to the Former Jan Nosky, and they have two children, Megan and Nick.
