David Marcial, a senior at Delaware Valley High School, is a member of National Honor Society, Student Council, Junior Historians, Mu Alpha Theta and varsity soccer.
He won the Warrior Award for soccer this year and is an AP Scholar with Distinction.
“Being involved has created a close friend group and has challenged me both academically and athletically to become a better all-around student,” he said.
David volunteers for the United Way’s Day of Caring and Relay for Life. He also helps out at St. Joseph’s church in Matamoras and the local food pantry.
“Volunteering has allowed me to give back to the community and put a smile on other people’s faces,” he said. “In giving to others, I have grown myself.”
He wants to be known as a hard worker who was involved and made a positive impact at DV.
