The Warrior Ambassador Program is designed to help support
our students and provide a positive message throughout DDMS. The Warrior
Ambassadors participate in a variety of activities throughout the school year. Activites
may include: - 6th Grade Orientation
- New Student Ambassadors
- Hearing Screening & Physicals with the school nurse
- Suicide Prevention and Awareness
- Bully Prevention Program
- Career Day
- Senior Citizen Dinner Theater
- Grandparents Day
- Elementary and Primary Field Day
- 5th Grade school visit
- Community Service Projects
Warrior Ambassadors are chosen for their leadership
qualities and commitment to a positive school environment. Requirements
include:
- Enrollment as a 7th or 8th grade student
- Maintaining a minimum of B average in all classes
- No more than 10 absences from school
- Teacher approval
- No discipline referrals
